Fukuchi Onsen Yamazato no Iori Soen

A recommended inn quietly nestled in the mountain village of Fukuchi Onsen. The building, a restored late Edo period farmhouse with a history of about 100 years, features an irori (traditional sunken hearth), dirt floor, and beams that reflect the old lifestyle of Hida, providing a time-travel-like comfort. The water drawn from 300 meters underground is a bicarbonate spring, known for softening the skin's keratin and transforming it into smooth skin.
